Ben Wood started his career at the age of 21 following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather who ran a portrait studio in Baker Street, London. After a few years assisting photographers such as David Bailey and Don Freeman, Ben struck out on his own running a studio in Bleeding Heart Yard, London. Ben is best known for his signature sepia marine work but he has diversified widely since joining TROWBRIDGE in 2003 and now has an impressive selection of work encompassing classic motor-racing, horse racing, landscapes and his highly successful shell series. Having moved out of London in 2000, he is now based at his studio in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight.
